The Dow stock losers Tuesday were led by Walgreens (WBA) 22.73 (-2.99%), Merck (MRK) 107.51 (-2.12%) and Nike (NKE) 100.32 (-1.99%).

The VIX closed Tuesday at 14.01 (+1.37%) and the 10 YR at 4.255 (-0.16%). The VIX is currently at 14.25 (+1.71%). The 10YR is at 4.250 (-0.28%).

Microsoft (MSFT) rose 1.5% on Tuesday to 333.55, moving above the 50-day moving average for the first time in a month.

Looks like a ho-hum day for The Dow.

U.S. futures are mostly lower, European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended mostly lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down eight-tenths of a cent at $3.803 per gallon.
