The Dow on Friday broke a four-week losing streak, adding 1.75% last week. On Tuesday and Wednesday, we’ll hear from Fed Chairman Jerome Powell, and investors will be eager for the latest clues on how the central bank will approach its next rate-hike decision. This Friday also brings the February jobs report. If it’s anything like January’s number (a surprisingly big 517,000), watch out.

Important catalysts this week include congressional testimony Tuesday and Wednesday from Fed Chair Jerome Powell, who will guide investors and lawmakers on how the central bank is thinking about inflation and its rate-hiking campaign going forward.

Traders are also anticipating the February jobs report on Friday, which follows January’s blockbuster report that showed the economy added 517,000 payrolls. Economists polled by Dow Jones are expecting 225,000 jobs added last month.

Monday, the latest factory orders data will be released after the bell. Economists are expecting a decline of 1.8% in January. That’s compared to a 1.8% gain in the prior reading.

Goldman analyst Michael Ng initiated Apple (AAPL) with a buy rating and a price target of $199, implying upside of nearly 32%.

U.S. futures are higher, European stocks are mostly lower and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is up three-tenths of a cent at $3.4 per gallon.
