DJIA Market Happenings For Monday, March 9, 2020

There are no Dow stocks at 52 week highs. Dow stock 52 week lows include American Express (AXP), Boeing (BA), Cisco (CSCO), IBM (IBM), United Technologies (UTX) and Exxon Mobil (XOM).

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -1255 points.

Friday the Dow was down -256.50 (-0.98%) at 25,864.78.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -9.37%.

There were 12 Dow stocks up Friday.

The Dow stock winners Friday were led by Walgreens (WBA) +03.55%, 3M (MMM) +1.48% and Disney (DIS) +1.13%.

The Dow stock losers Friday were led by United Technologies JPMorgan (JPM) -5.17%, Exxon Mobil (XOM) -4.83% and Goldman Sachs (GS) -2.99%.

The 10-year Treasury yield, which moves inversely to price, dropped to a new record low of 0.318% early Monday before recovering some of those losses. Oil prices were off about 20%, though they had been 30% lower overnight.

European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down seven-tenths of a cent at $2.381 per gallon.
