Dow stocks at 52 week highs include American Express (AXP), Merck (MRK), Pfizer (PFE), UnitedHealth (UNH) and Walgreens (WBA). There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -99 points.

Monday the Dow was up +287.97 (+1.13%) at 25,826.43.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +4.48%.

There were 22 Dow stocks up Monday.

The Dow stock winners Monday were led by Boeing (BA) +3.81%, Nike (NKE) +3.75% and Apple (AAPL) +3.49%.

The Dow stock losers Monday were led by Verizon (VZ) -3.55%, McDonald’s (MCD) -1.67% and Coca Cola (KO) -1.41%.

Apple (AAPL +3.49%) was downgraded to ‘Hold’ from ‘Buy’ at HSBC.

European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down 1.2 cents at $2.447 per gallon.
