Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Johnson & Johnson (JNJ), Merck (MRK), Pfizer (PFE), Procter & Gamble (PG), UnitedHealth (UNH) and Walgreens (WBA). Dow stock 52 week lows include Goldman Sachs (GS).

The Market

Markets are closed Wednesday for a National Day of Mourning for President George H.W. Bush who passed away last Friday.

Tuesday the Dow was down -799.36 (-3.10%) at 25,027.07.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +1.25%.

There were no Dow stocks up Tuesday.

The Dow stock winners Tuesday were not to be found. All 30 Dow stocks were down for the day.

The Dow stock losers Tuesday were led by Boeing (BA) -4.85%, Intel (INTC) -4.75%, JPMorgan (JPM) -4.46%, Apple (AAPL) -4.40%, Visa (V) -4.39%, American Express (AXP) -4.20% and Goldman Sachs (GS) -3.82%.

Dow futures are showing +110 points this morning.

European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down two-tenths of a cent at $2.445 per gallon.
