Year-to-date the Dow is up +6.39%.

The Dow stock winners Tuesday were led by Chevron (CVX) +1.49% and Boeing (BA) +1.40%.

The Dow stock losers Tuesday were led by Nike (NKE) -1.05% and United Technologies (UTX) -0.86%.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended mostly lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down seven-tenths of a cent at $2.192 per gallon.
