DJIA Market Happenings For Thursday, September 8, 2016

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Intel (INTC).There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -71 points.

Wednesday the Dow was down -11.96 (-0.06%) at 18,526.14.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +6.32%.

There were 13 Dow stocks up Wednesday.

The Dow stock winners Wednesday were led by Caterpillar (CAT) +2.00% and Visa (V) +0.86%.

The Dow stock losers Wednesday were led by Wal-Mart (WMT) -1.29% and Home Depot (HD) -0.98%

Apple (AAPL +0.61%) was downgraded to ‘Market Perform’ from ‘Outperform’ at Wells Fargo Securities.

Nike (NKE +0.54%) was downgraded to ‘Neutral’ from ‘Overweight’ at Piper Jaffray.

European stocks are mostly lower and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down seven-tenths of a cent at $2.185 per gallon.
