DJIA Market Happenings For Tuesday, September 6, 2016

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Cisco (CSCO) and Intel (INTC).There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +25 points.

Friday the Dow was up +72.66 (+0.39%) at 18,491.96.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +5.71%.

There were 27 Dow stocks up Friday.

The Dow stock winners Friday were led by Boeing (BA) +0.97% and Apple (AAPL) +0.94%.

The Dow stock losers Friday were led by Nike (NKE) -0.89% and Wal-Mart (WMT) -0.47%.

Intel (INTC) buys chip maker Movidius to help bring computer vision to drones.

General Electric (GE) today announced the acquisition of two 3D printing companies in Europe. GE acquired Arcam and SLM Solutions, both suppliers of additive manufacturing equipment, for $1.4 billion as the company looks to bulk up the use of 3D printing in the manufacturing of jet engines and cars.

European stocks are mostly higher and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down five-tenths of a cent at $2.199 per gallon.
