DJIA Market Happenings For Monday, June 15, 2020

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -450 points.

Friday the Dow was up +477.37 (+1.90%) at 25,605.54.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -10.28%.

There were 26 Dow stocks up Friday.

The Dow stock winners Friday were led by Boeing (BA) +11.48%, Dow (DOW) +5.02%, Raytheon (RTX) +4.01% and Goldman Sachs (GS) +3.94%.

The Dow stock losers Friday were Walmart (WMT) -1.96%, Merck (MRK) -0.57% and Procter & Gamble (PG) -0.55%.

The Dow is set to open down on new coronavirus outbreaks.

Intel (INTC) was upgraded to “overweight” from “neutral” at KeyBanc, which said the chipmaker is in a strong position to take advantage of the next wave of computing beyond PCs, phones, and tablets.

The Disney (DIS) Hong Kong Disneyland theme park will reopen on June 18, with a reduced number of visitors and enhanced health measures such as social distancing.

European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended lower.

The national average price of gasoline is up two-tenths of a cent at $2.104 per gallon.
