Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +864 points.

Monday the Dow was up +157.63 (+0.62%) at 25,763.16.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -9.72%.

The Dow stock winners Monday were led by Raytheon (RTX) +2.57%, Goldman Sachs (GS) +2.25% and American Express (AXP) +2.23%.

The Dow stock losers Monday were Merck (MRK) -2.99%, Chevron (CVX) -1.26% and Pfizer (PFE) -1.16%.

On Monday, the stock-market shrugged off evidence of rising coronavirus infections in nearly half of U.S. states and added to gains after the Fed said it was expanding the scope of its $750 billion emergency corporate debt loan facility to include individual corporate bonds.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down one-tenth of a cent at $2.103 per gallon.
