DJIA Market Happenings For Wednesday, March 11, 2020

There are no Dow stocks at 52 week highs. Dow stock 52 week lows include Boeing (BA), Caterpillar (CAT), Disney (DIS) and IBM (IBM).

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -707 points.

Tuesday the Dow was up +1167.14 (+4.89%) at 25,018.16.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -12.34%.

All 30 Dow stocks were up Tuesday.

The Dow stock winners Tuesday were led by JPMorgan (JPM) +7.77%, Home Depot (HD) +7.24%, Apple (AAPL) +7.20% , McDonald’s (MCD) +6.96%, Microsoft (MSFT) +6.84% and Disney (DIS) +6.81%.

The Dow stock losers Tuesday were not to be found.

Governments and central banks are rushing to limit economic fallout from the coronavirus pandemic as cases around the world tick above 115,000. But concerns remain about how much economic policymakers can do to battle a health crisis with limited resources.

European stocks are mostly lower and Asian markets ended lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down 2 cents at $2.345 per gallon.
