A much-hyped Apple (AAPL) streaming service will be unveiled on Monday at 10 a.m. PT. It’s unclear what Apple’s streaming video service will be or how it’ll be priced. Apple will stream original shows while likely also airing third-party content.
American Airlines cancelled flights related to the Boeing (BA) 737 MAX through April 24. That’s roughly 90 American Airlines flights per day. That suggests that the U.S. won’t clear the 737 Max for at least another month. U.S. air safety regulators tentatively approved Boeing 737 Max software and pilot-training fixes. The fixes would give pilots more control over a less-aggressive automated stall-prevention system. Training would focus on how the system works and how to shut it down.
European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended lower.
The national average price of gasoline is up two-tenths of a cent at $2.628 per gallon.
