Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -149 points.

Monday the Dow was up +239.62 (+1.32%) at 18,325.07.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +5.17%.

There were 29 Dow stocks up Monday.

The Dow stock winners Monday were led by Wal-Mart (WMT) +2.33%, Procter & Gamble (PG) +2.33%, Apple (AAPL) +2.24% and Coca Cola (KO) +2.18%.

The Dow stock loser Monday was Dupont (DD) -0.38%.

Chevron (CVX +0.97%) was rated a new ‘Outperform’ at BMO Capital Markets with a target price of $120.

European stocks are mostly higher and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down one-tenth of a cent at $2.178 per gallon.
