DJIA Market Happenings For Wednesday, July 13, 2016

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Cisco (CSCO), Chevron (CVX), Exxon Mobil (XOM) and 3M (MMM).There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +35 points.

Tuesday the Dow was up +120.74 (+0.66%) at 18347.67.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +5.29%.

There were 22 Dow stocks up Tuesday.

The Dow stock winners Tuesday were led by Goldman Sachs (GS) +3.11% and Dupont (DD) +2.65%.

The Dow stock losers Tuesday were led by Wal-Mart (WMT) -1.07% and Boeing (BA) -0.93%.

Tomorrow we get the weekly initial unemployment claims which are expected to be +11,000 to 265,000, previous was -16,000 to 254,000. Weekly continuing claims expected +6,000 to 2.130 million, previous was -44,000 to 2.124 million.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down eight-tenths of a cent at $2.217 per gallon.
