The Dow Market Happenings For Monday, June 27, 2016

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Verizon (VZ).There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -98 points.

Friday the Dow was down -610.32 (-3.39%) at 17,400.75.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -0.14%.

All 30 Dow stocks were down Friday.

The Dow stock winners Friday were non-existent.

The Dow stock losers Friday were led by Goldman Sachs (GS) -7.07%, JPMorgan (JPM) -6.95%, Caterpillar (CAT) -6.64%, IBM (IBM) -5.64%, Boeing (BA) -5.26%, American Express (AXP) -5.04% and Cisco (CSCO) -5.03%. The other 23 Dow components lost less than 5% each. Walmart (WMT) lost only -0.19% and Verizon (VZ) only lost -0.44% after hitting an intraday 52 week high.

Looks like oil prices will slide a bit again after the Brexit vote.

European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down one-tenth of a cent at $2.307 per gallon.
