The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -91 points.

Tuesday, the Dow was down -33.84 (-0.19%) at 17,511.34.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -1.74%.

There were 12 Dow stocks up Tuesday.

Dow stock winners Tuesday were led by Home Depot (HD) +2.59UnitedHealth (UNH) +1.36%.

Dow stock losers Tuesday were led by Wal-Mart (WMT) -3.38% and Cisco (CSCO) -1.99%.

We get the last FOMC meeting minutes today.

The WSJ reported that JPMorgan Chase (JPM +0.21%) is in advanced discussions with the SEC to settle investment bias charges for $150 million that it inappropriately guided clients to its own investment products.

European stocks are mostly lower and Asian markets ended mixed.

The national average price of gasoline is up eight-tenths of a cent at $2.656 per gallon.
