DJIA Market Happenings For Friday, March 13, 2015

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Disney (DIS) up +13.78% year-to-date and Dupont (DD) up +8.74% year-to-date. There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -39 points.

Thursday, the Dow was up +259.83 (+1.47%) at 17,895.22.

Year-to-date the Dow is up 0.40%.

There was 26 Dow stocks up Thursday.

Dow stock winners Thursday were led Disney (DIS) +4.16% and Goldman Sachs (GS) +3.13%

Dow stock losers Thursday were led by Intel (INTC) -4.73% and Microsoft (MSFT) -2.29%.

Intel (INTC) was upgraded to ‘Buy’ from ‘Hold’ at Canaccord.

European stocks are mixed and Asian markets mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down two-tenths of a cent at $2.445 per gallon.
