Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -21 points.

Friday the Dow was down -354.84 (-1.41%) at 24,815.04.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +6.38%.

The Dow stock winner Friday was McDonald’s (MCD) +0.10%.

The Dow stock losers Friday were led by Verizon (VZ) -4.36%, Dow (DOW) -3.53%, Cisco (CSCO) -2.87%, Goldman Sachs (GS) -2.60% and Nike (NKE) -2.40%.

The 10-year yield slides to its lowest level in 21 months. The US 10-year yield is down 2.2 basis points at 2.10%, its lowest since September 2017.

Traders are more sure than ever that the Fed’s next move is a rate cut. Traders on Friday were pricing in a 50% chance that the Federal Reserve would cut rates at its July meeting and a 91.4% probability that the central bank would lower rates this year.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended lower.

The national average price of gasoline is up three-tenths of a cent at $2.813 per gallon.
