The Dow Market Happenings For Friday, December 8, 2017

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Boeing (BA).There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +71 points.

Thursday the Dow was up +70.57 (+0.29%) at 24,211.48.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +22.51%.

There were 16 Dow stocks up Thursday.

The Dow stock winners Thursday were led by Caterpillar (CAT) +1.82% and Visa (V) +1.51%.

The Dow stock losers Thursday were led by Coca Cola (KO) -1.44% and Procter & Gamble (PG) -1.26%.

Employers added 228,000 jobs last month. Economists had forecast 195,000 employment gains in November. The unemployment rate was unchanged at 4.1%.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down three-tenths of a cent at $2.474 per gallon.
