Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +23 points.

Monday, the Dow closed up +26.46 (+0.16%) at 16,743.63.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +1.01%.

The China May non-manufacturing PMI rose +0.7 to 55.5, the fastest pace of expansion in 6 months.

European stocks were lowerer and Asian markets ended mixed.

The national average price of gasoline is down four-tenths of a cent at $3.665 per gallon.

There are no Dow stocks set to report earnings until Nike reports in late June.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (KKD) reported first quarter EPS of $0.23 on revenue of $121.60 million, compared to last year’s EPS of $0.20 on revenue of $120.62 million.

Quiksilver (ZQK) reported a second quarter loss of $0.15 on revenue of $408.00 million, compared to last year’s loss of $0.12 on revenue of $458.75 million.

Stocks reporting earnings today include:

ABM Industries (ABM) is expected report second quarter EPS of $0.40 on revenue of $1.23 billion, compared to last year’s EPS of $0.36 on revenue of $1.17 billion.

Dollar General (DG) is expected to report first quarter EPS of $0.73 on revenue of $4.56 billion, compared to last year’s EPS of $0.71 on revenue of $4.23 billion.

Mattress Firm Holding (MFRM) is expected report first quarter EPS of $0.36 on revenue of $337.55 million, compared to last year’s EPS of $0.38 on revenue of $275.96 million.
