The VIX closed Tuesday at 25.78 (+6.66%) and the 10 YR at 4.310 (-0.60%). The VIX is currently at 20.13 (-21.92%). The 10YR is at 4.256 (-2.09%).

U.S. stock futures jumped Wednesday after Trump said he was suspending Iran attacks for two weeks just ahead of his 8 p.m. ET deadline, pausing a five-week conflict that closed a crucial waterway for global energy supply and sent equity prices reeling.

West Texas Intermediate crude futures tumbled more than 16% to $94.41 a barrel following Trump’s declaration. International benchmark Brent for June delivery lost more than 14% to $93.67 per barrel.

U.S. futures are higher, European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is up 2.4 cents at $4.164 per gallon.
