Trump’s approval rating hits new low for second term. His disapproval rating, at 63%, is numerically the highest of either term, one point above the previous high of 62% as he was leaving office in January 2021.

On Wednesday, Trump’s tariffs will come under scrutiny by the Supreme Court, which is set to hear oral arguments in a case that could determine the fate of his trade agenda.

OpenAI has signed a deal to buy $38 billion worth of capacity from Amazon Web Services, its first contract with the leader in cloud infrastructure and the latest sign that the $500 billion artificial intelligence startup is no longer reliant on Microsoft. Under the agreement announced on Monday, OpenAI will immediately begin running workloads on AWS infrastructure, tapping hundreds of thousands of Nvidia’s graphics processing units (GPUs) in the U.S., with plans to expand capacity in the coming years. Amazon (AMZN) stock climbed about 5% following the news.

U.S. futures are mostly higher, European stocks are mostly higher and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is unchanged at $3.036 per gallon.
