Shares of Home Depot (HD) were trading 2% higher in Tuesday’s premarket hours, after the home improvement retailer stuck by its full-year guidance, expecting total sales for the full year to grow by 2.8%. CFO Richard McPhail also said the company doesn’t have any plans to raise prices in the face of higher tariffs.

Mortgage rates are back above 7% after a Moody’s downgrade of the U.S. credit rating that sent ripples through the bond market. The rate on the 30-year fixed mortgage hit 7.04% Monday, its first time above the threshold since mid-April.

U.S. futures are lower, European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down two-tenths of a cent at $3.177 per gallon.
