The Dow stock winners Monday were led by Sherwin Williams (SHW) 399.71 (+2.94%), Boeing (BA) 153.10 (+2.55%) and UnitedHealth (UNH) 605.83 (+2.53%).

The Dow stock losers Monday were led by Nvidia (NVDA) 136.02 (-4.18%), Chevron (CVX) 160.36 (-1.23%) and Walmart (WMT) 89.50 (-1.04%).

The VIX closed Monday at 14.60 (-4.20%) and the 10 YR at 4.273 (+0.16%). The VIX is currently at 14.45 (-1.03%). The 10YR is at 4.296 (+0.70%).

Trump on Monday night called for a 25% tariff on products from Mexico and Canada, as well as an additional 10% levy on Chinese goods. He has already said he would impose a tariff of up to 20% on all imports, and an additional duty of at least 60% on products from China.

The Dow hit new intraday records in Monday’s session.

Investors will monitor Federal Reserve meeting minutes due out at 2 p.m. ET for insights into the path of monetary policy.

The U.S. market is closed Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday and set to close early Friday, with volume expected to remain light.

Amgen (AMGN) shares fell more than 3% in the premarket after the company said its experimental weight loss drug helped patients lose up to 20% of their weight after a year. However, those trial results appeared to be on the low end of investor expectations.

U.S. futures are mixed, European stocks are mostly lower and Asian markets ended mostly lower.

The national average price of gasoline is up 1.1 cents at $3.067 per gallon.
