Home Depot (HD) shares rose 1.7% after the company topped earnings expectations and lifted its full-year outlook. Sales rose more than 6% on a year-over-year basis. Home Depot’s net income for the fiscal third quarter dropped to $3.65 billion, or $3.67 per share, from $3.81 billion, or $3.81 per share, in the year-ago period. Revenue climbed 6.6% from $37.71 billion in the year-ago period. Comparable sales fell 1.3% in the quarter across the business. That’s better than the 3.3% drop analysts expected. The metric fell by 1.2% in the U.S.

Bitcoin crossed $90,000 for the first time in record run.

U.S. futures are mostly lower, European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down five-tenths of a cent at $3.078 per gallon.
