The Dow stock losers Tuesday were led by Intel (INTC) 47.80 (-4.88%), Apple (AAPL) 185.64 (-3.58%) and Boeing (BA) 251.76 (-3.41%).

The VIX closed Tuesday at 13.20 (+6.20%) and the 10 YR at 3.942 (+0.08%). The VIX is currently at 13.85 (+4.92%). The 10YR is at 3.986 (+0.04%).

Minutes from the Fed’s December policy meeting are due out today. The JOLTS report for November and December’s ISM manufacturing data are also due.

Apple (AAPL) shares were down for a second straight day, losing 0.5% in the premarket. That decline came after the tech giant dropped 3.6%, its biggest one-day decline since September.

U.S. futures are lower, European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended mostly lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down six-tenths of a cent at $3.104 per gallon.
