The VIX closed Monday at 13.70 (+0.81%) and the 10 YR at 3.846 (-0.16%). The VIX is currently at 14.32 (+5.53%). The 10YR is at 3.866 (+0.36%).

The FOMC will release its June meeting minutes at 2 p.m. ET Wednesday while New York Fed President John Williams is scheduled to speak at 4 p.m.

May factory orders data is set to release Wednesday after the open. Economists are anticipating a rise of 0.6%, which would be greater than the 0.4% increase the previous month.

U.S. futures are lower, European stocks are mostly lower and Asian markets ended lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down seven-tenths of a cent at $3.522 per gallon.
