The Dow stock losers Friday were led by Nike (NKE) 110.37 (-2.65%), Boeing (BA) 211.16 (-0.32%) and IBM (IBM) 133.81 (-0.19%).

The VIX closed Friday at 13.59 (+0.37%) and the 10 YR at 3.834 (+0.58%). The VIX is currently at 13.77 (+1.32%). The 10YR is at 3.810 (-0.05%).

Stocks will open the second half of the year with a shortened trading day. Markets will shut down at 1 p.m. ET ahead of the July 4 holiday and stay closed through Tuesday. Friday we get the Jobs report.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up a modest 3.8% during the first half of 2023.

Apple (AAPL) stock dipped 0.4% following a report that Apple plans to scale back Vision Pro headset production. Apple shares closed above a $3 trillion market cap on Friday.

Later today we get ISM Manufacturing PMI and S&P Global manufacturing PMI data for June.

U.S. futures are mixed, European stocks are mostly lower and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is unchanged at $3.535 per gallon.
