The Dow stock losers Tuesday were led by Merck (MRK) 110.01 (-2.74%), UnitedHealth (UNH) 487.57 (-2.13%) and McDonald’s (MCD) 284.54 (-1.35%).

The VIX closed Tuesday at 13.96 (-5.23%) and the 10 YR at 3.671 (-0.71%). The VIX is currently at 14.04 (+0.57%). The 10YR is at 3.716 (+0.43%).

It looks like we are getting rotation into Small Caps with the Russell 2000 up big last Friday, down a couple percent Monday and up +2.69% Tuesday.

Looks like a slow news day, Next week we do get a FOMC meeting though.

U.S. futures are higher, European stocks are mostly lower and Asian markets ended mostly lower.

The national average price of gasoline is up eight-tenths of a cent at $3.553 per gallon.
