The Dow stock losers Monday were led by Boeing (BA) 124.05 (-2.48%), Disney (DIS) 105.18 (-2.00%) and Salesforce (CRM) 164.12 (-1.67%).

The 10 YR yield is currently at 2.970%.

Walmart (WMT) is down 6% after mixed quarterly results due to rising costs. Home Depot (HD) is up 3.5% in the premarket after stronger quarterly results.

The 30-year Treasury yield ticked higher Tuesday to around 2.95% after the government’s before-the-bell release showed a slightly less-than-expected increase of 0.9% in April retail sales month over month. On a year over year basis, retail sales rose 8.2%. The March numbers were revised sharply higher.

U.S. futures are higher, European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is up 4.0 cents at $4.523 per gallon.
