Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -2 points.

Tuesday the Dow closed up +198.70 (+0.56%) at 35,457.31.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +15.85%.

The Dow stock losers Tuesday were led by Disney (DIS) 171.14 (-3.01%), Amgen (AMGN) 203.13 (-2.27%) and Travelers (TRV) 152.88 (-1.77%).

The 10-year Treasury yield hit 1.67% late Tuesday night, retracing highs back to mid-May. The yield was slightly below that level Wednesday.

U.S. oil prices fell to around $82 per barrel but still hovered around seven-year highs.

U.S. futures are mixed, European stocks are mostly higher and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is up 1.7 cents at $3.357 per gallon.
