Friday the Dow was up +453.40 (+1.39%) at 33,072.88.
Year-to-date the Dow is up +8.06%.

The Dow stock winners Friday were led by Intel (INTC) 64.87 (+4.60%), Cisco CSCO) 52.57 (+4.08%) and Nike (NKE) 132.99 (+3.38%).
The Dow stock losers Friday were Goldman Sachs (GS) 327.39 (-0.96%), Boeing (BA) 244.87 (-0.94%) and Disney (DIS) 185.92 (-0.53%).
Boeing (BA) rose 3% in Monday’s premarket after a huge aircraft order from Southwest Airlines.
The 10-year Treasury yield was steady Monday, trading below its recent 14-month high.
New daily U.S. covid cases, while sharply lower than January’s high, increased 12% in the past seven days compared with a week ago. Nearly half of people ages 65 and older have completed all of their necessary shots, however, just 20% of the adult population is considered fully vaccinated.
European stocks are mostly higher and Asian markets ended higher.
The national average price of gasoline is up one-tenth of a cent at $2.863 per gallon.
