S&P Dow Jones Indices, which manages the benchmark index of 30 stocks, is adding Salesforce (CRM), Amgen (AMGN) and Honeywell (HON) to the Dow while removing Exxon Mobil (XOM), Pfizer (PFE) and Raytheon Technologies (RTN). The decision was made to balance out the disruption from Apple’s 4 for 1 stock split. The Changes take effect on Monday, August 31, 2020.
