DJIA Market Happenings For Wednesday, July 8, 2020

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +28 points.

Tuesday the Dow was down -396.85 (-1.51%) at 25,890.18.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -9.28%.

There were 28 Dow stocks up Tuesday.

The Dow stock winners Tuesday were Walmart (WMT) +6.78% and Procter & Gamble (PG) +0.49%.

The Dow stock losers Tuesday were led by Boeing (BA) -4.81%, Goldman Sachs (GS) -3.86%, American Express (AXP) -3.70% and Raytheon Technologies (RTX) -3.65%.

Dow Jones futures rose Wednesday morning, along with S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq futures.

European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is up four-tenths of a cent at $2.184 per gallon.
