Thursday the Dow was up +1351.62 (+6.38%) at 22,552.17.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -20.98%.

There were 29 Dow stocks up Thursday.

The Dow stock winners Thursday were led by Boeing (BA) +13.72%, Chevron (CVX) +10.26%, Walgreens (WBA) +10.21%, UnitedHealth (UNH) +8.91% and United Technologies (UTX) +8.78%.

The lone Dow stock loser Thursday was Dow (DOW) -2.30%.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, is back in a bull market, reached on a day when data showed a record number of people filing for unemployment benefits. The 21% gain in the last three days ends what was just an 11-day bear market for the blue chips. But is it real or is it a Bull trap?

European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down 1.8 cents at $2.051 per gallon.
