Confirmed U.S. Covid-19 cases have climbed to at least 88. The U.S. suffered its first two coronavirus deaths, two people in Washington state. The coronavirus may have been present in the state for at least six weeks, with hundreds of potential infections. Worldwide coronavirus cases approached 90,000 overnight with 3,048 deaths.
European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended higher.
The national average price of gasoline is down six-tenths of a cent at $2.435 per gallon.
