The Dow Market Happenings For Tuesday, November 16, 2019

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include JPMorgan (JPM) and Microsoft (MSFT). There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +26 points.

Monday the Dow was up +190.85 (+0.68%) at 28,066.47.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +20.32%.

There were 22 Dow stocks up Monday.

The Dow stock winners Monday were led by UnitedHealth (UNH) +2.11%, Intel (INTC) +2.08% and Dow (DOW) +1.85%

The Dow stock losers Monday were led by Exxon Mobil (XOM) -0.66%, McDonald’s (MCD) -0.65% and Verizon (VZ) -0.62%.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average, S&P 500 and Nasdaq all closed at record highs Monday, putting year-to-date gains at 20%, 25% and 30%, respectively.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said impeachment investigators are pulling together their findings. House Democrats could deliver a finalized report as early as next week after several closed-door depositions and two weeks of public hearings looking into President Donald Trump’s intention when he asked Ukraine’s leader in a July phone call to investigate political rival Joe Biden.

European stocks are mostly higher and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down 1.2 cents at $2.588 per gallon.
