DJIA Market Happenings For Monday, November 11, 2019

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -110 points.

Friday the Dow was up +6.44 (+0.02%) at 27,681.24.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +18.66%.

The Dow stock winners Friday were led by DIsney (DIS) +3.76%, Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) +1.19% and Microsoft (MSFT) +1.18%.

The Dow stock losers Friday were led by Verizon (VZ) -1.95%, Exxon Mobil (XOM) -1.90% and Boeing (BA) -1.77%.

Today was the first opportunity that markets in Asia had to respond to comments from US President Donald Trump, who said Friday in the United States that he has yet to agree to rolling back tariffs.

KKR & Co. has formally approached drugstore giant Walgreens (WBA) about what could be the biggest-ever leveraged buyout, people familiar with the matter said.

European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down two-tenths of a cent at $2.618 per gallon.
