The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -117 points.

Thursday the Dow was up +49.51 (+0.19%) at 26,252.24.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +12.54%.

There were 15 Dow stocks up Thursday.

The Dow stock winners Thursday were led by Boeing (BA) +4.24%, JPMorgan (JPM) +1.03% and Goldman Sachs (GS) +0.87%.

The Dow stock losers Thursday were led by UnitedHealth (UNH) -3.08%, Dow (DOW) -2.84% and Cisco (CSCO) -1.21%.

U.S. stock futures turned lower this morning, giving up gains after China unveiled a plan to impose retaliatory tariffs on another $75 billion worth of U.S. goods.

European stocks are mostly lower and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is up one-tenth of a cent at $2.602 per gallon.
