Raytheon (RTN) and United Technologies (UTX) announce deal to form a $120 billion aerospace and defense giant. If approved, the deal would pay Raytheon shareholders 2.3348 shares in the combined group for each Raytheon share they own.
Trump suspends tariffs on Mexican goods. “I am pleased to inform you that The United States of America has reached a signed agreement with Mexico,” President Donald Trump tweeted on Friday evening. “The Tariffs scheduled to be implemented by the U.S. on Monday, against Mexico, are hereby indefinitely suspended.”
European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended higher.
The national average price of gasoline is down four-tenths of a cent at $2.746 per gallon.
