Oil hits its best level since November. West Texas Intermediate crude oil climbed more than 0.7% to a five-month high of $63.53 a barrel this morning.
Boeing (BA) is cutting production of the 737 Max by 20%. The plane maker will cut production of the 737 Max to 42 aircraft a month from 52.
European stocks are mostly higher and Asian markets ended mostly lower.
The national average price of gasoline is up three-tenths of a cent at $2.742 per gallon.
