The United States added just 20,000 jobs in February, way below expectations of a 180,000 gain, and a sign that the job market might be beginning to cool. That was the fewest jobs gained in a month since September 2017. The unemployment rate fell to 3.8% as fewer unemployed people were looking for work. And that’s why the Dow is falling today.
European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended lower.
The national average price of gasoline is up 1.2 cents at $2.460 per gallon.
