The Dow Market Happenings For Monday, November 19, 2018

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Coca Cola (KO), McDOnald’s (MCD), Merck (MRK), Procter & Gamble (PG) and Verizon (VZ). There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -74 points.

Friday the Dow was up +123.95 (+0.49%) at 25,413.22.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +2.81%.

There were 20 Dow stocks up Friday.

The Dow stock winners Friday were led by Travelers (TRV) +2.53%, UnitedHealth (UNH) +2.33% and McDonald’s (MCD) +2.20%.

The Dow stock losers Friday were led by Walmart (WMT) -1.86%, Boeing (BA) -1.65% and Visa (V) -1.17%.

Last week, the Dow Jones Industrial Average posted a weekly decline of -2.2%, the S&P 500 Index declined by -1.6%, while Nasdaq Composite Index shed -2.2%.

European stocks are mostly higher and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down seven-tenths of a cent at $2.624 per gallon.
