Monday the Dow was down -458.92 (-1.90%) at 23,644.19.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -4.35%.

The S&P 500 closed below its 200-day moving average for the first time since June 2016.

European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended mostly lower.
