The Dow stock losers Monday were led by UnitedHealth (UNH) -1.74% and Goldman Sachs (GS) -1.45%.

US consumer credit jumped by 8.8% in November, its most in two years, to $3.83 trillion.

Jeff Bezos is now the richest person of all time. The Amazon CEO’s net worth reached $105.1 billion Monday. Maybe Amazon should be a Dow stock.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down one-tenth of a cent at $2.491 per gallon.
