Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +29 points.

Monday the Dow was up +22.79 (+0.10%) at 23,580.78.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +19.32%.

There were 15 Dow stocks up Monday.

The Dow stock winners Monday were led by Verizon (VZ) +1.38% and 3M (MMM) +1.13%.

The Dow stock losers Monday were led by Chevron (CVX) -0.79% and Intel (INTC) -0.58%.

Home Depot (HD +1.06%) was upgraded to ‘Overweight’ from ‘Neutral’ at Atlantic Equities LLP with a price target of $197.

UnitedHealth Group (UNH -0.05%) slid 1% in after-hours trading after it said it sees 2018 adjusted EPS of $10.55 to $10.85, the mid-point below consensus of $10.82.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended mostly lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down five-tenths of a cent at $2.502 per gallon.
