Tuesday the Dow was down -53.50 (-0.24%) at 22,296.09.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +12.76%.

The Dow stock winners Tuesday were led by Apple (AAPL) +1.72% and Nike (NKE) +0.88%.

The Dow stock losers Tuesday were led by McDonald’s (MCD) -1.86% and Disney (DIS) -0.94%.

Nike (NKE) fell 3% in after-hours trading after it reported Q1 revenue of $9.07 billion, below consensus of $9.09 billion, citing declining growth in North America.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is up three-tenths of a cent at $2.568 per gallon.
