DJIA Market Happenings For Tuesday, September 12, 2017

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Coca Cola (KO), McDonald’s (MCD), Procter & Gamble (PG) and Visa (V). There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +55 points.

Monday the Dow was up +259.58 (+1.19%) at 22,057.37.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +11.61%.

There were 27 Dow stocks up Monday. Home Depot (HD), General Electric (GE) and Dupont (DD) got no market love today.

The Dow stock winners Monday were led by Travelers (TRV) +2.34% and Cisco (CSCO) +2.26%.

The Dow stock losers Monday were led by Home Depot (HD) -0.81% and General Electric (GE) -0.42%.

Apple (AAPL +1.81%) was rated a new ‘Buy’ at Citic Securities with a price target of $200.

European stocks are mostly higher and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is down seven-tenths of a cent at $2.661 per gallon.
