Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -15 points.

Wednesday the Dow was down -57.11 (-0.27%) at 21,410.03.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +8.34%.

There were 12 Dow stocks up Wednesday.

The Dow stock winners Wednesday were led by Nike (NKE) +2.00% and Merck (MRK) +1.44%.

The Dow stock losers Wednesday were led by Caterpillar (CAT) -3.34% and Dupont (DD) -2.65%.

The word is that Nike (NKE) may soon be selling its gear directly on Amazon.

European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down two-tenths of a cent at $2.280 per gallon.
