Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Boeing (BA), Caterpillar (CAT), Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) and 3M (MMM). There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -5 points.

Monday the Dow was up +144.71 (+0.68%) at 21.528.99.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +8.94%.

There were 21 Dow stocks up Monday.

The Dow stock winners Monday were led by Apple (AAPL) +2.86% and JPMorgan (JPM) +2.19%.

The Dow stock losers Monday were led by Travelers (TRV) -0.90% and Exxon Mobil (XOM) -0.87%.

Looks like a slow summer Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate crude-oil contract for August delivery slumped by 2% to $43.52 a barrel amid ongoing concerns about excessive supply levels, its lowest level since November.

European stocks are mostly lower and Asian markets ended mostly lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down eight-tenths of a cent at $2.285 per gallon.
